NEWS!!!!

Dear Parents and Students,
Our Spring Performance
is rapidly approaching and it is very important that students attend
all remaining classes and scheduled rehearsals! The following information
will be posted in the w
aiting area, it is your responsibility to read these notices and mark
down important schedules!
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE +
REHEARSALS + CONGRATULATION FLOWERS +
VIDEO ORDERS + PICTURE DAY + TICKET SALES + COLOR of TIGHT’S +
FINALE DANCE/ THEATER WORKSHOP
EVERYONE must present a
ticket at the door except performing students and children under
2yrs. of age. We are not responsible for lost, misplaced or unused
tickets. Dress rehearsal is a
CLOSED REHEARSAL for students only, this means ..... one parent gets
a pass (at the time
of your ticket purchase) to take pictures, video and escort student
to the rehearsal. This is our
one and only chance to pull an entire show together and we need this
time alone with no
distractions. NO SIBLINGS will be allowed to enter the auditorium,
(if you can’t make arrangements,
the lobby is available as a waiting area) we hope that you will give
us your support! NO CAMERAS
WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE AUDITORIUM ON PERFORMANCE DAY! Please do
not bring
them to the show ( inform guests) they will not be permitted into
the auditorium with them.
Parents please bring activities,
games, non-staining snacks... to occupy students between
routines at the show. NO JEWELRY (please schedule ear piercing if
possible around your show)
unless the jewelry is part of your costume. DRESS REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY
FOR ALL
STUDENTS in order to perform in the show, there are NO EXCEPTIONS.
These following dates have
been confirmed for Keefe Technical School in Framingham. Some
students are in ALL 2 SHOWS so please check the board for your schedule
BLOCKING REHEARSAL:
MAY 1st (not all students)10:00-12:00 noon. (check schedule!)
DRESS REHEARSAL: MAY 1st 1:00-6:00 p.m. (check schedule! For your
times)
PERFORMANCE: MAY 2nd 1:00 and/or 4:00 p.m (check schedule!)
RUN THROUGH REHEARSAL(mandatory
at the studio) April 8th, 15th and 29th at 4:00 pm,
and April 10th at 2:00-4:00pm, only for students/classes that are
listed on the FRONT BOARD.
Please remember that we
try our absolute best to arrange all siblings together in one show.
We have many students with siblings and this task can sometimes become
impossible for all.
If your children are not together and you would like to volunteer,
speak to the Director. We hope
you understand our honest attempts to keep this time of year a most
enjoyable one for our
students and parents. Thank you for your support, Lisa / Director.
CLASSES END:
- May 15th Please
read the following schedule carefully:
- May 3-8 ALL
classes run regular schedule.
- May 10-15 ALL
classes run regular schedule EXCEPT Grades 1 and UP.
- Grades 1 and
Up are invited to attend our Finale Workshops at the studio.This
gives
them the opportunity to try different forms of dance & theater
as well as different
teachers. We always have lots of FUN and its FREE of charge. Please
sign up
on the board to reserve your space.

“PROGRAM AD CONTEST” ends
April 3rd Great prizes offered!
Also a percentage of proceeds will go to Our Company Dancers Fund.

A MESSAGE OF LOVE or ENCOURAGEMENT to your SHINING STAR on STAGE
with an Ad in the STUDENT PROGRAM! Use last years stage photos or
something new!

We
are NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATION....for the following
SUMMER dance/theater camps*
*fall classes*
Tickets are Limited:
Cost is $12.00 in advance and $14.00 at the door
(cash only or certified bank check) Seats are not reserved by Number.
Everyone 3 yrs. of age and up
must present a ticket at the door. Children 2 yrs. and under must
sit on parents lap. There are
NO REFUND for lost tickets or exchanges.
Please explain rehearsal
and show regulations to your friends and family so that our volunteers
are
not subjected to unnecessary conflict.

TIGHTS & SHOES:
make sure you have the appropriate color and style for rehearsal &
show!
I hope you all enjoyed
another year of Dance and Theater with us at Backstage ,I know I did!
Remember now is the time we put all that we’ve learned together and
present it on stage!
